It was seven years ago when the forerunners of this ministry first stepped out of college and stepped into a whole new world called the Marketplace.
Today, we are remembering and celebrating the day we first walked on the streets of Makati and dreamed that one day we will be able to bring a transforming influence in the lives of others as we carry and let the light of Christ shine through us. It was a new, challenging path that we had to take, and because it was an unfamiliar path, we needed to encourage one another and yes, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
Faithfully, God honored our friendship and brought us into a deeper experience of His grace and power. He opened the eyes of our hearts and gave us a fresh revelation and understanding of His heart, of His passion. With His reaching out to us, we started reaching out to others…one life at a time. And that’s how God brought everyone into this family—including you.
God opened doors of great opportunities for us—for our careers, for our spiritual growth—but ushering people unto the feet of Jesus and leading them into the door of eternity were the greatest moments of our lives.
It has been a great journey since we stepped out of our boats, and became fishers of men and women.
Everyone in this family has his or her stories to tell. Stories that we will always retell. Because they are stories of how God introduced Himself to us, of how He changed our lives for the better, and of how He is using us to bring others to Christ.
We are forever grateful to God who gives grace and makes all things possible for us to accomplish His work. We are thankful to those people that God used to help us know our Creator and Savior more and more throughout the years that we have remained faithful to Him. Unto Jesus, be glory, honor, power and praise for His ministry in the Marketplace today… and for the years to come that He will call us to step out and win the world to Him.
Friends and family of THY Marketplace, we welcome you into this journey…and into a lifetime of knowing and celebrating Jesus together.
